Frequently Asked Questions
What do you need for online sessions? - High speed internet connection - Laptop or tablet (mobile phones are not ideal for telehealth as it's hard to see the program slides and each other) - Email access - PDF reader e.g. adobe
How does telehealth work? Telehealth is a service delivery model where we consult together over an online, video-based platform e.g. Zoom. Telehealth is great for early intervention because it means we can see children in their most comfortable environment. We will send you links and resources to prepare for your telehealth sessions, and let you know if there are any specific materials (e.g. favourite toys or specific books) that we will focus on using together.
What is video feedback? Video feedback involves recording a parent and child during a therapy session, and then reviewing the video with parents and caregivers in order to provide feedback and support. This technique can help parents to better understand their child's needs, and can provide valuable insights into how to support their child's development. We have a strengths-based approach and focus on helping parents see what they do well.
